Get A Grip On Your Playing
Finally Understand Everything You Do On The Bass
Picking up the bass is difficult, understanding it feels impossible. Private tuition is the fastest way to make sense of it all.
What Are You Stuck On?
-
Is technique holding you back?
-
Do you never know what to practice?
-
Do you understand what you're playing or just copying shapes?
-
Are you self-taught and don't know what you're missing?
-
Have you hit a wall and stopped improving?
-
Are you new to the bass and have no idea where to start?
Every bassist is stuck for a different reason.
Find out yours by taking the assessment below.

The Problem With Teaching Yourself Bass
So you've been playing bass for a while. You've managed to bust out a few songs using tab and feel proud of yourself for it.
You should be! It's no easy feat to be able to pick up an instrument and start playing it.
But what next?
Do you just carry on learning the odd song here and there? Or do you work on technique? Or theory? Or tone?
This is the limitation of learning by yourself using online tools.
Youtube and online courses don't know anything about you or your skill level, so it's impossible for them to tell you what to learn next.

Fast Forward To The Future
You've learned all of these random pieces of musical information over time, but have no idea how to apply them because you were never taught them in a logical, step-by-step fashion.
This is why having a private tutor matters so much for any serious bass player. Especially a tutor that offers the following:
-
Structure - A thought out lesson plan that guides you logically through every important topic.
-
Dedication - You need a tutor who's as dedicated to your playing as you are.
-
Encouragement - Inside and outside of lessons, your tutor should be encouraging you with materials and feedback.
If you're serious about learning the bass, you've absolutely come to the right place. Keep reading to find out more.

What To Expect
From lesson plans to online classrooms, find out what sets my online lessons apart from others in the industry.
Your Lessons
From day one of your lesson journey, we'll be looking at what makes a good bass player, and how you can become one.
We'll be deep diving into technique, harmony & theory, ear training, and all of the subtleties that will help you progress on the bass guitar.
You can expect lessons to be modern, with up-to-date playing and recording techniques. Following a 5-week lesson plan, you'll receive an education that's structured and purposeful.
Your lesson experience, inside and outside the classroom is fantastic value for money. Not only are you receiving an hour's tuition, but you also have access to my online classroom.
Most importantly, my lessons are centred around making students feel comfortable and confident in their abilities.

Your Classroom
The classroom is where you'll find everything lesson related, so you don't need to worry about forgetting what you learned in our sessions.
Here, you'll find notes about your lesson (what you learned, how your performance was, what things you should work on at home).
You'll be able to download any lesson-related material (Bass Tab & Notation, Guitar Pro Files, audio recordings, videos).
The classroom also has a feed that contains updates and the occasional group quiz to keep you on your toes.
